ED Library is designed with a layered security architecture to protect organisation data, learning content, learner records, payments, and user accounts. Each organisation operates in its own separated workspace, so users, courses, books, records, payments, and permissions are restricted to the organisation/domain they belong to. A user from one organisation should not be able to access another organisation’s content or data. For account protection, ED Library supports multi-factor authentication, including authenticator-based verification and email-based verification. Uploaded files and private media are protected by server-side access checks. Payment security is handled through trusted payment providers such as Stripe, Paystack, and PayPal. ED Library does not store raw card details. The platform also includes additional protections such as security headers, content security policy controls, audit logs, malware scanning support for uploads, encrypted backups, field-level encryption for sensitive records, session management, and alerts for selected security events. No online platform can honestly claim to be impossible to attack, however, ED Library is built to reduce risk through multiple protective layers while keeping organisation data private, traceable, and access-controlled.
